How to Set-up Email for Outlook 2003

Follow these steps to create Email connection to Outlook 2003

1. In Outlook, go to Tools Menu
2. Select E-mail Accounts
3. Select Add a new e-mail account
4. Select service type:  IMAP
5. Click Next
6. Complete the following fields
   • User Information
     • Your name:       type your full name
     • Email address:  type your full email address
   • Server Information
     • Incoming Mail server:  mail.bss.systems
     • Outgoing Mail server:  mail.bss.systems
   • Logon Information
     • User name:  type your full email address
     • Password:    type your password
   • Remember password: (optional)
     • If you check the Remember password box. Outlook will not request it each time you log on.
     • If others use your computer, it's safer to enter your password each time you check mail. 
7. Click More Settings
8. Select Outgoing Server Tab
   • Click to select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
   • Click to select Use same settings as my incoming mail server
9. Select Advanced Tab and update the following information
   • Incoming server (IMAP)
     • Port:      993
     • Click to select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
   • Outgoing server (SMTP)
     • Port:      465
     • Click to select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
10. Click Ok
11. Click Test Account Settings
12. Once all test completed successfully, click Close
13. Click Next
14. Click Finish
