Follow these steps to create Email connection to Outlook 2010
- In Outlook, go to File
- Click the Info tab
- Click Add Account
- On the Email tab, click New
- Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types
- Click Next
- Select Internet E-Mail
- Click Next
- Complete the following fields
- User Information
- Your name: type your full name
- Email address: type your full email address
- Server Information
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming Mail server: mail.bss.systems
- Outgoing Mail server: mail.bss.systems
- Logon Information
- User name: type your full email address
- Password: type your password
- Remember password: (optional)
- If you check the Remember password box. Outlook will not request it each time you log on.
- If others use your computer, it's safer to enter your password each time you check mail.
- User Information
- Click More Settings
- Select Outgoing Server Tab
- Click to select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Click to select Use same settings as my incoming mail server
- Select Advanced Tab and update the following information
- Incoming server (IMAP)
- Port: 993
- Encryption Method: Auto
- Outgoing server (SMTP)
- Port: 465
- Encryption Method: Auto
- Incoming server (IMAP)
- Click Ok
- Click Next
- Once all test completed successfully, click Close
- Click Finish
